A day in the life of Shanggar Ganesh

Marcus dropped me off in front of MyPlace after coming back frm thtr practice in Hui Xian house in PJ. I decided to take a bus back home since my bro was out.

6.00 pm: I walked towards the bus stop. There, I was suddenly on urgent to go to the toilet to pee, rather helplessly. But I wasnt able to find any toilet nearby so I just walked & walked.

6.05: After walking some distance, I came to Castrol so i went to use the toilet. I was already very far off the original bus stop, so I just decided to walk to the next 1(since the bus mite leave b4 I get back).... Read More

6.10: Continued walking while constantly looking behind to se if the bus is coming. Soon I realized tht my zip was wide open, God knws since when(but I'm sure its not after using the Castrol toilet). So I had do move frm the road towards the housing area to close it.

6.15: I walked in the SS 18 housing area & managed to close my zip. As I walked, I realized there isnt any space fr me to wait fr a bus there so I'll hv to walk to the stop in front SMK SU to catch a bus.

6.20: Walked & walked as I saw a Metro bus pass me, but I wasnt able to stop it. It started to drizzle.

6.25: Then a rapid KL bus passed, b4 another Metro passed & I was still not able to stop it.

6.30: I reached the SMK SU bus stop, & it started to rain really heavily. Just waited & waited there..

6.50: A rapid bus arrived & all my problems ended, or I thought. I entered, gave him a RM 10 note which he didnt accept, asking me to get a small change of RM 1, which I didnt hv. So he asked me to get down frm the bus. how sweet.

7.05: A Metro bus arrived & the conductor had the change fr RM 10 so I finally got my ride back home.

7.15: I finally got the sight of home to my relieve. Went to bath when I realized, my pants was very badly torn at the back.

Ok, this happened to me about 15 minutes ago..

After a tiring day at college, I finally reached home at 7pm and decided to take a bath; it was the most impeccable timing ever to do so. To make things worse, the water pressure was super low, so I had to bathe out of a pail. (I know I've complained but Taylor's, as prestigious as it gets, couldn't give a fuck about it.)

Upon coming out of the bathroom, still dripping wet and only a towel to cover my bare essentials, I crept across to my room. To my horror, the fucking door was locked! Turns out my room mate went out and locked me outside.. God damn it. What was a boy supposed to do with all his things, keys, hand phone, and even CLOTHES locked in the room. I became frantic when I realized he might not come back for the night; and that the mosquitoes were somehow hyperactive tonight.

After a few attempts of knocking on the door in hope of somehow someone just magically opening the door, I decided it was time. I had to kick down the door. Then, the thought struck me; for those of you who has been in my room, you would have known that i kept my guitars and my laptop, probably the most valuable things in the room, RIGHT behind the door. If i were to send the door crashing through, it would cost me a lot more than the cost to repair the door.

So, plan B. Contact my housemate/ex-roommate, Chin Sheng. (Thanks for helping me bro!) Upon realization of the rather comical situation, we both had a real good laugh over the circumstance. Imagine a dude, clad only in a towel around his waist, laughing his ass off. During that moment, I saw laughter redefined - when people tried to suppress their laughter. The only thought i had the whole time was, "Fuck my life.. x1000". To cut it short, he borrowed me his laptop so i could surf facebook to look for my roommate's hand phone number. Oh and if that's not enough, my roommate was an international student so it might be hard to get hold of his contact number.

Well thank god for some weird reason he posted his phone number on facebook, and after 4 attempts, I finally managed to tell him of it. Turns out he was already at Sunway. Luckily, being responsible enough, he took the liberty of taking a cab back to open the door for me. Finally at 9pm, the whole ordeal was over. Fuck my life - the longest, most boring 2 hours of my life, literally.
